An officer observed 20-year-old Donny Ray Poole sitting on the sidewalk and leaning against the front of Domino’s Pizza, located at 2009 Citrus Blvd., around 7 a.m. Jan. 11, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.

Due to the restaurant being closed at that time, the officer tried to speak with Poole. He quickly gathered his belongings and went to leave the property. He refused to identify himself and began walking northbound on Citrus Boulevard, the report said.

The officer contacted others who responded to the location during a shift the day before regarding them issuing a trespass warning to an individual. One of the officers confirmed that he issued a warning and gave a description of the individual, which matched Poole, the report said.

This officer came to the scene with the first officer, and they made contact with Poole. He was detained and confirmed to be the individual that was trespassed on Jan. 10. There was an active trespass letter on file for him, the report said.

Poole was subsequently arrested and charged with trespass after warning. He was transported to Lake County Jail with bond set at $1,000.

He was also arrested Jan. 4 after being tased by police while trespassing at a motel in Leesburg.
