Jack Ronald Hayes, 46, of Eustis, Florida, passed away on June 6, 2024. He was born on April 15, 1978, in Dallas, Texas.
Jack grew up in Texas and then later in Mt. Dora, Florida. He was married to Shannon Rae (Pickard) Hayes and had one stepdaughter, Maddee Mosley. He is survived by his mother and father Wesley and Theresa Ohland, sisters Kimberlee Potter, Holly Hatcher, and Allison Hayes.
He was a master welder, a fabricator and recently found a great passion in painting. Jack has been described as having a curious mind, kind, talented, able to create anything with his hands, smart, a smart aleck, stubborn, funny, strong, good-hearted, and most of all loving. People from all walks of life were drawn to him and his big presence. His absence from our lives will be felt deeply until we meet again.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at New Hope Presbyterian Church, 19535 Eustis Airport Rd, Eustis, Florida, at 10:00 a.m.
