Alexander H. Kerr, Jr passed away on December 28, 2023, quietly at his home in Tavares, Florida, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his wife and family by his side.

Alex was born on April 22, 1936, in Los Angeles, California, to Alexander H. Kerr, Sr. and Carolyn Hollaway Kerr, who preceded him.

Alex is survived by his loving wife, Patrica Walker Kerr, of 38 years, and his children, Lisa Freeman (John), Lana Schultz, Lori Cruz (George), Greg Wilkinson, and Meredith Kerr. Alex is also survived by his grandchildren Nicole Thornton, Jennifer Wright, Dana Bischoff, Chris Schultz, Brittney Berry, Chris Cruz, Cassandra Trujillo, Matthew Mazzocco, Nico Cruz, Michael Mazzocco, Natalie Cruz, Jake Kerr, Cody Wilkinson, and a host of great-grandchildren and loving cousins living throughout the US.

Alex had a career in industrial design. He was one of the original designers for Carroll Shelby. He designed parts of the Ford Shelby and the Cobra. Alex also freelanced for George Barris of Hollywood. He ended his career designing at Walt Disney Imagineering in California. Alex designed for Disneyland in California, Epcot in Florida, Japan, and Paris. He also taught a class in car design at his alma mater, Art Center of Pasadena.

Alex was a Navy Veteran. He loved God, his family and friends, and his country fiercely. He was a talented artist. He had a passion for cars, driving, racing, and drawing them. Alex was known for his kindness and his great sense of humor. He loved to speak in different dialects: English, Aussie, Scottish, southern (to tease his Georgia family), and as an old man! Alex did not think he was old! He was adored by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
