A Leesburg man was arrested on trespassing charges for the fourth time this year after being disruptive outside of a Walmart.
Police responded to Walmart, located at 2501 Citrus Boulevard, in reference to a trespasser at about 9:33 p.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.
Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the suspect, identified as 41-year-old Leroy Rogers, as he sat in front of the store eating, the report said.
The officer was then informed that Rogers had been trespassed from the location several times before, including in August of this year, the report said. He was also arrested for trespassing at McDonald’s on Aug. 13 and Wawa on Aug. 27.
The reporting party advised that Rogers was being disruptive and asked to leave the property daily, the report said.
As a result, Rogers was arrested and charged with trespass after warning. He was transported to the Lake County Jail and released on his own recognizance. He is responsible for appearing in court on Oct. 3.
