Jo Ann Campbell-Rhoda was born September 2, 1956 to the late Charles and late Shirley Ann Wepfer Cambell at Benton Harbor, Michigan. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Carol Campbell Roberts.

She later moved to Leesburg, Florida where she lived for 27 years. Jo Ann passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 after a long battle with cancer in Leesburg, FL.

Jo Ann is survived by her husband, Danny Rhoda of 27 years; stepmother, Kathy Campbell; brother-in-law, Jim (Millie) Roberts; sister, Kimberly Campbell (Frank) Smith; nephew, Jacob Roberts; nieces, Sara (Ken) Keller, Rebecca Roberts; great-nieces and great-nephews; brother-in-law, Johnny (Irene) Rhoda; niece, Jamie (Derek) Riley; nephew, Jonathon (Kara) Rhoda; great-nephews and great-niece.

She graduated from Benton Harbor High School, class of 1975 and also graduated from Lake Michigan College, Benton Harbor. She did internship work study during High School and went on to work with Whirlpool in Michigan for 20 years as a drafter / designer and then went to work for Siemans Energy in Florida as a drafter / designer. Her hobbies included training for Master Gardner; she loved working in the yard, loved her plants indoor and outdoor; quilting, antiques, and was an exceptional interior designer. She never missed a plant show if possible. Her activities included softball Jaycee; and she was involved in Blossom Time Parade (Chairman) Venetian Festival, TRI Sate Regatta, Krasl Art Food Drive ”

Jo was instrumental on family comes first.” She was always there to help her friends and family. She cared and loved her husband very much. Jo Ann was a wonderful Aunt to all her nieces and nephews. She was very well loved. She will forever be remembered by her family and friends for being a kind, loving and generous person. Jo Ann was so passionate about her animals; cats and dogs were her family. She will be very much missed by all!! A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in South Haven, Michigan.
