A Mascotte woman was arrested for lewd exhibition when police discovered she exposed herself to two juveniles because she was “too lazy to put clothes on.”
Police responded to the Dollar General, located at 441 East Myers Boulevard, at 9:31 p.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Mascotte Police Department.
A woman, later identified as 36-year-old Giselle Noemi Robinson, was seen wearing a towel wrapped around her body while holding a can of Four Loco. Officers spoke to her, and she advised that walking around in public with only a towel is normal to her, the report said.
The officer observed that Robinson was intoxicated while she explained that she was too lazy to put any clothes on. She also stated that she had not taken her depression medication which was at her house. The officer then had her sit in the back of his patrol car due to her being in public with just a towel, the report said.
Shortly after, the officer spoke to the caller who advised that a juvenile witnessed a woman naked in the parking lot and recorded it with his phone. The juvenile then forwarded the video to the caller who was the off-duty clerk at the time, the report said.
The officer called the juvenile and his guardian to ask if she could come back to the business to fill out a sworn written statement on behalf of the two juveniles, to which she agreed, the report said.
Once the guardian arrived, the officer met with both juveniles under the age of 16, the report said. They stated that they witnessed Robinson walk over from the Circle K gas station to their vehicle, after which she asked them if they had a lighter, the report said.
The juveniles instead asked Robinson why she did not have clothes on, to which she answered that she was too lazy to put clothes on. One of the juveniles then began to record the incident on his cell phone, to which Robinson exposed both her breasts and genital area by dropping her towel in front of the juveniles, the report said.
After reviewing video surveillance from Circle K, the report noted that Robinson was unable to keep her towel on as she displayed her breasts in public before walking towards the Dollar General where the incident took place.
The officers proceeded to detain Robinson, after which they asked the Dollar General if they could donate a shirt and shorts to her, the report said.
A check later revealed that Robinson was on supervised probation as of March 2023, the report said. She was in violation of her probation, the report said.
Robinson was subsequently arrested for two counts of lewd or lascivious offense/exhibition. She was transported to the Lake County Jail with bond set at $1,000.
