Jimmie Snow Jr. started life’s journey on March 14, 1948 in Eustis, FL. He was the youngest of 13 children, born to the late Alaphair Dobson McNealy and James James Snow Sr.
A time to learn:
He attended Lake County Public Schools and graduated from Bates Avenue High School and was a standout baseball player (short stop) and won the State Championship his senior year under the coaching of Ernest Sallet.
A time to work:
He joined the United States Air Force following high school and became a Sgt. He started a career with Florida Telephone and retired after 33 years.
A time to love:
Jimmie met and married Lilly B. Washington for the last 43 years.
A time to enjoy:
Jimmie enjoyed spending time with his family.
A time to die:
On Sunday, November 13, 2022, the Angels of Heaven came and called our loved one home.
He will be truly missed by those who love him among whom are: Devoted wife, Lilly B. Snow (his Puddin); children, Felix Malon Snow (Janetria), Lindward Shawn Snow Sr., and Lawanda Michelle Snow; grandchildren, Lindward “LJ” Jr., Tyesha, Ky Jones, Tenisha, Chelby, Alonté, Kayla, Quentin, Shakeem, Tyree, Kaitlyn, Joshaun, Kamiyah, Kenyon, Kaiden, and Kamden; great grandchildren, Aniyah, Kemari, Damonta, Layah-Joy, Tailyn, Kevin, Christian, and Kyleah; brothers, Horace McNealy and Claudie McNealy; sister, Josephine Nelson; brothers-in-law, Willie Washington Jr., and Leon (Lillie) Washington; sister-in-law, Katie McNealy;
Godchildren and extended family, his Snow’s Funeral Ministry family and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
Jimmie was preceded in death by is mother, father, brothers, sisters, aunt, and his beloved grandson, Bacarri Snow.
