Olive Evelyn Ott, 95, of Fruitland Park, FL passed away Friday, May 27, 2022. She was born February 13, 1927 in Patton, PA to August and Myrtle (nee Chapman) Urbain.
She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of 65 years, William W. Ott.
She is survived by daughter, Judith (Larry) Silhavy of Fruitland Park, FL; Grandchildren: Sheri (Terry) Zeigler of Fruitland Park, FL and Scott (Pam) Silhavy of Eustis, FL; Great-Grandchildren: Cody Woodruff of Fruitland Park, FL, Austin (Kyla) Woodruff of Lawtey, FL, Sean Silhavy of Inverness, FL, Seth Silhavy of Ocala, FL, Leighna Silhavy of Tavares, FL, and Gracie Silhavy of Tavares FL; Great-Great Grandchild, Easton Woodruff of Lawtey, FL and numerous other loving family and friends.
Olive loved being a wife and homemaker. Her life revolved around taking care of and doing things for her family. She was active in the ladies missionary circles at First Baptist Church in Valparaiso, IN. She was a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church in Leesburg, FL. She enjoyed sewing and doing punch embroidery.
After retirement, she and her husband, William enjoyed traveling and camping in their fifth wheel camper. After moving to Florida she has resided at her Fruitland Park, FL home for over 40 years.
Cremation has taken place at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home 410 Webster St. Wildwood, FL 34785.
Private family services are scheduled at a later date.
