A woman was busted on a prostitution charge at a hotel in Leesburg.

Leesburg police officers found an ad on skipthegames.com, a website commonly used by prostitutes to solicit customers. The ad included provocative photos of a female under the name of “Taylor,” later identified as 25-year-old Mary Butler of Fruitland Park, according to the arrest report. The site had a phone number for customers to text as well as a list of explicit sexual acts she was willing to perform. Officers texted Butler to see if she was available to which she replied,“Yes I am,” according to the report. Butler agreed to a meeting at the Quality Inn and informed the officer by text that she would be charging $200 per hour. One officer in plain clothes waited in a hotel room, while other officers waited in the room’s restroom.

When Butler arrived Wednesday, she was greeted by the undercover officer. They discussed what sexual acts she would perform. When asked if she wanted payment before providing services she said it did not matter if he paid before or after, but that she needed to use the restroom, according to the police report.

When she opened the restroom door she was greeted by the uniformed officers. She was placed under arrest on a charge of prostitution. A search of her purse turned up 1.2 grams of heroin and a syringe containing a liquid.

After booking Butler at the Leesburg Police Department on the prostitution and drug charges she was transported to the Lake County Jail where bond was set at $4,000.
