Michael E. Lucroy (64) of Umatilla, FL passed away on January 20, 2022. He was born April 17, 1957 in Eustis, FL to Jack and Romanzia (Wiley) Lucroy.
Michael is survived by his wife, Bernadine Lucroy of Umatilla, FL; his daughters Kelly Torres, Veronica Burt (Levi), Crystal Torres and Brandy Jo Wilcox (Anthony); he was blessed with grandchildren Blake, Hunter, Brooke, Damian, Devon, Trey, Angel, Haley, Joshua, Landon, Riley, Jacob, Mario, Bailey and Nason. He is also survived by his sister Wanda Locke, his niece Dana Newman and his nephew, Bobby Lucroy along with many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mike was a simple country man who made a career out of driving trucks and was on the road a great deal of time. He enjoyed hockey during his younger years and later enjoyed playing pool and fishing. After retiring, Mike mostly spent time with his children and grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.
There will be a funeral service for Mike at the Beyers Funeral Home, 279 S. Central Ave. in Umatilla, FL on Monday, January 31 at 11:00 am. There will also be a visitation time from 10:00-11:00 am. Following the service, Michael will be laid to rest at the Greenwood Cemetery in Eustis, FL.
