LSSC’s Leesburg Campus public walking path to close for improvements

The walking path around the LSSC Athletics Complex and near Silver Lake on the Lake-Sumter State College Leesburg Campus will be closed temporarily for repaving beginning Monday, Jan. 17.

The tennis courts will remain open, but individuals should use the designated crossover areas to access them.

This public walking path is a half-mile loop around the LSSC Athletics Complex including views of Silver Lake and the College’s nature preserve.

The walking path is expected to reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 25. Anyone with questions should contact LSSC Facilities at (352) 365-3538.
