Diane Marie Kaminski, born and raised in Leesburg, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 11, 2021.

She lived her life serving God and those around her. She leaves behind a great legacy. She spent her career as a hairstylist in many different roles. Throughout her career, she owned her own salon, managed JC Penney’s salon for 38 years, and loved her clients like family. She was a devout, faithful, and loving Christian. She was involved in multiple churches throughout the years; God and faith had no boundaries to her.

She spent her life fluttering like a butterfly, and never landed in the same place too long. She touched so many lives. Her life revolved around her faith in God and her family. Her goal in life was to let her light shine bright for Jesus; a beacon she was to everyone who met her. She was the best daughter, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend anybody could have.

She is preceded in death by: her parents Harry & Henrietta Ogden; her husband, James Kaminski; sister, Linda Ogden; daughter Jamie Kaminski; grandson, Christopher Shawn Lusk; and her faithful Shihtzu companions, Fidget, Puppy, & P2.

Surviving: Brothers Buddy Ogden (Pat), Lee Ogden. Brother-in-law Ray Kaminski (Terri). Children: Linda Thompson (Dwight), Bubba Burch, Tammy Nettles, Kerry Kaminski, Michelle Arbuthnot (Jon), Lynn Kaminski. Grandchildren: Josh Sumner, Michael Thompson (Clista), Garrett Burch, Brandie Hayes (Cameron), Kayla Webster (Daniel), Dianna Weaver (Dillon), Danae Carney (Ray). She has 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Beyers Funeral Home in Leesburg on Thursday, April 15th from 9:30AM to 11AM with a funeral service at 11AM. She will be laid to rest at Lone Oak Cemetery following the service.
