He is survived by six children, Bruce (Lorraine) Sherwood Jr., James Sherwood, Patty Fowlkes, Lee Ann Rhodes, Donald Sherwood and Eric Sherwood all live in Virginia. Mr. Sherwood is survived by one brother Gregory of Virginia and 2 Sister in laws Elizabeth Sherwood VA: Helen Sherwood New York, Sister in Law Connie (Robert) Vormwald, Robert Batzer (Brother in law) of New York, Kim Snell of VA and Wayne Sheeder of Florida, l6 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces + Nephews.
He going to be with Wife of 54.5 years Sandra Sherwood and Father Fred H. Sherwood, Mother Elizabeth J Sherwood, 4 Brother Charles F Sherwood, Wayne W Sherwood, Ron Sherwood, Ray Sherwood, Daughter Dixie Lee Sherwood, Son Jason E Sherwood, Daughter in law Amy Sherwood and Great grandchild Caleb.
After wife passed away he Joined the volunteer Staff at Florida Hospital Waterman for 5 years.
